In 2009...

I've moved house 3 times.
I've visited 7 countries and 6 US Sates.
I've touched 4 oceans.
I've visited 4 capital cities, and 2 state capitals
I've flown 7 airlines.
I've been in 12 airports.
I've driven more than 20 different cars,4 of them convertibles.
I've bought and sold 2 cars.
I've spent more money than I should of on people who do not deserve it.
I've shown my commitment to a mid-life crisis buying a sports car.
I have seen two Spaceship launches.
I am more broken now than ever before.

Life continues to move on.

I've had a lot of Loss in my life, how I did not end up a Goth I don't know, the last few years seems to of had more than its fair share, and it seems I am left with nothing but anniversaries with no one to mark them with.

Today is one of the worst, today is my Sister's Birthday, she is 30, and I have no idea where she is, what she is doing, or even if she is alive.

Its been over 3 years since that last time we saw each other, we got very drunk, visited all the old pubs in Durham, dyed our hair Green (not planned), and took over one pubs Karaoke night, turning it into Beatles tribute night.  And then all too quickly it was over, and it was the airport, promises to talk and one last hug...  A lot of stuff happened afterwards and then she was just gone.

At times like today, the pain of loss is close to unbearable.

If you are out there, where ever you are, whatever you are doing, do know that you are loved and missed.

I love my sister, she's the best.
She's cooler than any other girl that I have ever met.
She had the greatest band, she had the greatest guy.
She's good at everything and doesn't even try.

I've driven my own car approximately 6,000 miles.
I've slept in 19 different hotels.
I've kissed two girls.
I've spent 18 days with *THE* girl.
I've loved and lost.
I've found two old friends and lost one of them again.

Life has moved on and taken me with it, I so wish it had not.
